mint ginger cod



I have been checking out this flavour website which has been very nice and helpful for finding out some new cool flavours. I had some butter in the fridge and some mint so i decided to make some cod with mint ginger and butter.

I started by
  • melting 1 Tbs of butter
  • mixing in 1 tbs of chopped mint
  • adding 1 tsp of ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
i then dipped the pieces of cod in the sauce and let it sit for a couple minutes.

I put a stickfree saucepan at med-high heat. And put oven to 400 F.

I then put the cod onto the saucepan for 30 seconds a side and the placed the cod on a pan coated with parchment paper.

Put the fish into the oven for 10 minutes and enjoy with some rice.
