Now everyone in Denmark seems to eat Musli in the morning. If you go out for brunch, there is musli with yoghurt and berries. And why not? its delicious and from what i can tell, pretty healthy. The recipe i got from my mum actually
- get a mixture of grains that look like rolled oats.
- mix them together with slivers of nuts (almonds are probably best).
- either honey or maple syrup.
- oil- generally safflower oil.
- mix all the dry ingredients with the dressing so its all lightly coated.
- spread out on baking tray about 1 inch thick. like cookies.
- Bake at low heat. 280 F for about an hour or until golden brown.
after all is baked add in
- toasted pumpkin seeds. sunflower seeds.
- dried fruit of your choice. raisins.
