ribs in copenhagen



I was craving something that reminded me of home, so i bought some ribs and decided to see if i could make some pretty easily.

I started by
  • turning oven to 100 C
  • rubbing ribs with cajun spice, salt, pepper and a bit of sugar syrup
  • i than seared the ribs on both side in a hot pan
  • than i lay down a sheet of tin foil on a tray
  • put the ribs onto tray
  • put tin foil ontop and than put tray into oven
I let this cook while i made a BBQ sauce made up of
  • garlic
  • BBQ sauce
  • sugar syrup
  • olive oil
  • cajun spice
i cooked ribs by
  • 1 hour at 100 C
  • than turned them over
  • turned up temp to 150 C
  • kept turning over and painting the BBQ sauce on
  • should take another couple hours
i like mine a little over cooked, so they are crispy on the outside

the salad was simple
  • romaine lettuce
with a simple dressing of
  • lemon juice
  • garlic
  • mustard
  • olive oil
  • parmesan cheese
