chicken buns?


This is a take on cinnamon buns yet again, but this time i used a real cinnamon bun recipe. changed a little.

okay so the buns were made with

add
  • 4 cup of flour
  • 1 pkt active dry yeast
to a bowl, making well at bottom

in a saucepan i add
  • 3/4 cup of plum that was pureed
  • 2 tb of skim milk
  • 2 tb sugar
  • 2 tb butter
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
cook at low till butter is all melted. mix into to flour mixture with
  • an egg
knead for 3-5 min adding about 1/4 c flour more into the dough

than the steps are pretty much like pizza. coat with some olive oil. let rise for an hour. Push down and let rise for another 1/2 hour.

Roll it flat, than add your sauce and slice into strips and roll them up. Put into oven at 350 F and take out when they look done.

these buns have ground chicken mixture that i had in my freezer earlier. I also added a little bit of
  • salt/pepper
  • sugar syrup
while frying it up. Than spread ontop of dough, cut and roll them up. and paint top with egg yolk mixed with touch of milk and sugar syrup.
