crown chokes



these beautiful artichokes that kind of look like crowns were made the other day in my own little kitchen. I have tried them before and tried the recipe again. They were tasty but a little touch, so next time i gotta cook em for longer but basically I
  • cut the chokes, taking off the outer layer of the leaves
  • sliced them in quarters
  • took out all the prikly little needles in the middle so all was left was some of the leaves and the hearts.
I than sliced up some lemons, put those in the hollowed out hearts and added a sauce made of
  • finely diced garlic
  • olive oil
  • salt/pepper
  • touch of lemon juice
i coated what was left of the artichoke/lemon and put them into the oven at 350 for 15ish min.

They were super tasty, but i will try them again soon with a few alterations.
