the rumballs

on a freezy night there is not much quite like getting some rum balls and playing board games. Well, this is what occured the other night, but instead of going and getting expensive rumballs from the store i made these rumball drinks.

I started by making a small expresso to give it a little kick. Than I began making a mixture of

• a handful of chopped dark chocolate
• 3/4 L of milk
• 1/2 c of cocoa powder
• chili powder
• orange zest

in a decent sizzed pot, and put a med temp. I kept stirring so the milk did not burn and than once it was all mixed together. I used a blender at end to give a little froth.

i than added some rum to the bottom of a cup, then the frothed chocolate milk and finally the espresso coffee.

It was quite perfect.
