Its fall and well most people love to carve pumkins and put them outside to display. For me well ill carve it up and eat it. But first i gott cook it up. I roasted this half pumkin and the zucchini in the oven and added a little sauce to give them some flavour. They were pretty good, especially the zucchini, the pumkin, well im gonna need some more practice with that.
To roast a pumkin you need to cut it in half, take out all the seeds and put it on a tray in oven to roast.
i split the zucchini down the middle and roasted with pumpkin, though i think the pumpkin needs more time to cook. I also added a tray of water underneath, so there was a combined backing and steaming effect, though only a little bit of steam. It worked out quite nicely.
Cook them in oven at 350ish for 30 min. 15-20 min for zucchini
the sauce i put on them consisted of
- chopped garlic
- Worcestershire sauce
- olive oil
- tobasco sauce
- salt/pepper
Enjoy
